Dilapidations
Dilapidations arise through contractual obligations between Landlord & Tenant under an agreed lease which sets out the obligations of the parties in regards to the care of commercial property.
As lease contracts are legal documents which often imposes responsibilities and by association financial liabilities, the cost of good building surveying advice in relation to your lease obligations before, during and after lease expiry is often a small fraction of the potentially large financial obligations agreed under such contracts.
